Our communicative, student-centered teaching
methodology emphasizes the mastery of the sounds of English, both in speaking
and listening. The principal activity in the classroom is spoken communication
between teacher and students in which new elements of English are introduced
amd practiced. Materials are based on current issues, and critical thinking
is encouraged.
Our teachers are experienced professionals
who teach phonetics the way American English is spoken by native speakers.
Our students develop speaking and listening skills from the first day on.
Reading and writing skills are also taught at all levels.
Homework is assigned daily and includes
written composition, outside reading and study materials, and listening
exercises. We offer the following ESL programs:
