Preparation for the TEST OF ENGLISH
FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION (TOEIC®)
The TOEIC tests:

TOEIC scores to help them get ahead of the competition.
For more than 30 years, the TOEIC® test has set the
standard for assessing English language skills used in the workplace. Today
TOEIC® test scores are used by more than 9,000 companies, government
agencies and English language learning programs in more than 90 countries,
and more than 5 million TOEIC tests were administered last year.
Our TOEIC® Preparation course can be
taken as a stand alone, 6 hours per week class, or in combination with the
advanced ESL class consisting of 18 hours per week for a total of 24 hours
per week, or 96 hours per session. (for F-1 students)
Intensive ESL Students enrolled in the
advanced program receive test-taking skills for theTOEIC® and individualized
feedback as needed, in addition to pronunciation, vocabulary and idioms.

Our teachers work with you on computer-aided
programs that include past examinations to sharpen your exam taking technique.
You receive ample training and will be well prepared to take theTOEIC®
test. Your teacher will guide you every step of the way, give you feed-back
through one-on-one counseling and help you achieve your best. At AFI, you
can prepare for theTOEIC® exam with the most effective materials under
the guidance of experienced, professional TOEIC® teachers, and take
theTOEIC® exam when you know you are ready to reach the score you need.

A 4 - to 12 - week TOEIC® preparation program that helps students achieve a satisfactory
score on the Next Generation TOEIC® exam. Six hours per week of lessons with highly-qualified TOEIC® teacher.
Class time is spent learning specific skill-building exercises,
reviewing test-taking strategies, and practicing with simulated TOEIC® test problems.
Individualized self-study lessons in the computer lab. Students will take
full-length TOEIC® practice tests and receive personalized feedback on all sections.

listening, reading and writing.
- Grammar and Vocabulary review/expansion is a key element
in supporting test-taking skills.
- Intensive test-taking strategies that allow students
to develop a high level of general language ability in both receptive skills (listening and speaking) and productive

- Full-length TOEIC® practice tests
as well as diagnostic pre- and post-tests simulate actual TOEIC® test
conditions as much as possible and allow students to identify strengths
and weaknesses and assess improvement in each section.
