SAT Writing: Our program is designed to offer a student a personalized SAT writing preparation course tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual student. An expert tutor will guide, motivate and inspire a student through each step towards mastering the SAT writing test.

Skills taught include: how to improve sentences and paragraphs, identify errors in essay structure, diction, grammar sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, word usage, and wordiness.

Accent Reduction (Standard American Accent Acquisition): Our Accent Reduction / Standard American Accent Acquisition is program is affordably priced and is taught by professionals who can coach you to modify a heavy accent with exercises that are proven effective and facilitate communication with the widest percentage of American-English speakers. Our program is custom-tailored to your English -speaking level, progress, and motivation. Program duration ranges between 10 and 20 sessions. Additional sessions are available upon request.

Students in this program learn to

  • reduce their accent and improve their pronunciation;
  • become familiar with American idioms;
  • eliminate other types of language problems, e.g., grammar and sentence structure errors;
  • gain confidence in giving oral presentations by using proper intonation and rhythms, vowel and consonant pronunciation;
  • understand rapid speech.
English for Business: Designed for Business people or Business students who wish to develop the ability to communicate well in English in a variety of business situations. Skills taught include: business vocabulary, public speech, oral presentations, business writing/reports, business social situations, and negotiating in English.
Test Preparation (GMAT - GRE - TOEIC):

 GMAT: Graduate Management Admissions Test: Graduate schools of business use the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) to assess applicants' qualifications. It measures verbal, mathematical, analytical, and writing skills.

GRE: Graduate Records Examinations: Many non-business graduate schools use the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) to assess applicants' qualifications. It also measures general verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills.

TOEIC: The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is designed to test abilities in English as it is used in real-life situations and business. Many corporations, universities, governments, and language schools use the TOEIC to evaluate students' English language proficiency.

 Slang/Idioms/Jargon/Colloquialism:   Knowledge of slang and idioms is fundamental to nonnative speakers' understanding of the language that native speakers actually use. It is also essential for those who want to integrate into our culture; without slang and idioms, students will always be outsiders. This nonstandard English may even be important for students' safety and well-being

 Intensive TOEFL iBT/Paper-Based TOEFL: For the student who needs a fast, effective preparation to take the TOEFL test, not only to achieve the TOEFL score he or she seeks, but also to learn the English language communication skills necessary to do the schoolwork in a college or university in the United States.

Most American universities require a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score for admission. The TOEFL tests students' ability to understand and use academic English. A F International offers Internet-based TOEFL test preparation and a computer lab where students can practice for the test.
