TOEFL Preparation
Our students are among the most successful candidates for the TOEFL. Their results are a tribute to the effectiveness of our Intensive English program. Students enrolled in the advanced program receive test-taking skills for the TOEFL and individualized feedback as needed, in addition to pronunciation, vocabulary and idioms. Full-length practice tests simulate actual TOEFL test conditions as much as possible. Diagnostic tests pinpoint problem areas, and all sections - listening, grammar and reading - are given back-to-back and are timed. Our teachers work with the students on computer-aided programs that include past examinations to sharpen the students’ exam taking technique. The students receive ample training and are well prepared to take the next generation TOEFL test.

English for Professionals
The English for Professionals program is a reading, speaking, listening and writing course for foreign born learners with at least an upper-intermediate level or advanced level of English, through a range of activities which engage learners and allow them to improve their English in a thorough and stimulating way.
Students in this program learn a variety of skills needed by business, medical or pastoral professional to work competently and comfortably in an English-speaking professional environment. Students perfect their spoken English skills by practicing American English pronunciation and intonation and by acquiring the workplace specific vocablulary and idioms required for effective communication at their place of work. They practice their writing skills by preparing specific, work-related literature. Grammar topics are reviewed and thoroughly practiced in interview situations, oral presentations and profession-related portfolios. Special attention is given to a varitey of topics related to the culture of the United States.

Individual Instruction
We also offer one-on-one instruction where you decide on the number of hours of instruction and the schedule of the course. Your teacher will work very closely with you and keep you informed about your progress.
